Temporary employment register
The National Gallery of Australia engages non-ongoing employees to fill short-term vacancies.
The duration of a non-ongoing vacancy may be anywhere from a couple of weeks, to up to 12 months, and engagements are at a range of classifications dependent upon the duties undertaken. Positions that are available for greater than 12 months are advertised on our website and/or in the Press.
Applicants are encouraged to obtain additional information about the functions and activities of the Gallery and eligibility requirements for employment, including citizenship and probation.
Applications must include a completed temporary employment register Form, and curriculum vitae. You are also encouraged to provide a statement outlining personal attributes, communication skills and your ability to work as a team member.
