Degas family activity room
Children and families can enrich their experience of Degas: master of French art with the children’s discovery trail, school holiday programs and the Degas Family Activity Room within the exhibition.
The family room features activities facilitated by qualified staff suitable for children aged 3 -10 years and their families. These include drawing, drama and puppetry, stories, puzzles and games related to the life and work of Degas.

Getting here and parking
The National Gallery of Australia is located in the parliamentary triangle on the south side of Lake Burley Griffin. It is adjacent to the High Court of Australia and The National Portrait Gallery and within walking distance of the National Library and Old Parliament House.
PARKING
The National Gallery has two car parks – underground open from 9.50am with a 3-hour limit (entry from Parkes Place); and above ground (entry from Bowen Drive). See map below for the location of the Gallery (marked in black) and Gallery parking (marked in blue)
