Biography
IVIMEY, Linde, 1965

Linde Ivimey was born in Sydney in 1965. She obtained a Diploma of Fine Art in printmaking in 1991 and a Diploma of Fine Art in sculpture in 1992 from the Claremont School of Art, Perth. She lectured in sculpture at the Claremont School of Art from 1993 to 1995 and was a lecturer at the West Australian School of Art from 1996 to 1998. Ivimey has been included in numerous group exhibitions including the Blake Prize for Religious art, Sydney, 2000; and Materiality at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Gallery, 1999. She has been awarded several prizes, among them the Gomboc Sculpture Award in 1992, and the SECWA Fremantle Art Award in 1991. Linde Ivimey currently lives in Melbourne.
