Case Study : National Australia Bank – the National Gallery’s Education Access Partner

The National Australia Bank (NAB) has a long association with the National Gallery of Australia, being the Naming Right’s Partner of the National Gallery’s Sculpture Gallery.

Since 2009 NAB they has been the National Gallery’s Art and Education Access Partner, supporting the Gallery’s extensive ongoing public programs and education activities such as the National Summer Arts Scholarship, Sculpture Garden Sunday and Big Draw among others.

As part of their Partnership the National Australia Bank also supports the Gallery’s major summer exhibitions and receives a range of benefits associated with the exhibition including after hours exhibition viewings and cocktail functions. For the Renaissance exhibition NAB held a special Renaissance feast in the Gallery’s Sculpture Garden Restaurant and invited their key clients and representatives. As part of the event the guests were invited to an after -hours exhibition tour with exhibition Curator Christine Dixon (Senior Curator of International Painting and Sculpture at the National Gallery).
