Case Study : PwC

PwC is Australia's leading professional services firm. As an avid supporter of the Arts, PwC partnered with the National Gallery of Australia to sponsor exhibitions that share unique and treasured works with our wider communities.

In 2014, PwC sponsored two exhibitions, Garden of the East: Photography of Indonesia and Bali: Island of the Gods, the opening of which was attended by guest of honour Prime Minister of Australia, The Honourable Tony Abbott. These exhibitions were a strong fit for PwC. The firm is committed to strengthening and developing Australia's international ties, and by encouraging the sharing of treasured and ground breaking artworks from our closest neighbour, Indonesia, they promote the sharing of culture and open communication.

PwC is also partner of the Gallery's most recent blockbuster exhibition:  James Turrell: A Retrospective. The firm's invaluable support of this exhibition has helped enrich the experience of visitors to the Gallery.

The partnership also enabled PwC to reward and recognise staff through unique opportunities and experiences such as events, prize giveaways and annual staff memberships to the Gallery.

PwC remains a trusted and valuable partner to the National Gallery of Australia. Their ongoing commitment to the Gallery to ensure these artworks can be shared and celebrated has been rewarded with a membership to the Gallery's Council Circle.
