Masterpieces for the Nation
The Masterpieces of the Nation Fund was initiated in 2003 to give the public an opportunity to play a special role in the collection of significant works of art. Since 2003 the Gallery has been able to purchase seven important works through this fund and is again offering the opportunity to be part of the acquisition of a selection of a key work.

This year the Masterpieces for the Nation Fund donations will assist in acquiring Robert Dowling’s superb painting Miss Robertson of Colac (Dolly) 1885–86. Attached is a brochure which provides further information.(300 kb, pdf)
