Renaissance is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to encounter paintings by some of the greatest European artists of the early and high Renaissance. Over seventy works, made between 1400 and 1600 by painters in Northern and Central Italy such as Botticelli, Bellini and Titian will be on show. Visitors will discover touching depictions of the Madonna and Child, dramatic lives of the saints and Bible stories, and insightful portraits of nobels. Only in Canberra.

03 Sculpture bar & Sculpture Garden Restaurant

Relax and unwind in the Sculpture Garden every Friday evening from 5.00 to 10.00 pm during the Renaissance season. The National Gallery's Sculpture Bar, in association Veuve Clicquot, features Canberra's best DJ's. Listen and relax under the stars with a great range of food and beverages. It is the perfect way to start the weekend this summer!
