With the renewed focus on the permanent collection, and with the assistance of the generous grant from Tim Fairfax in Betty Churcher's name, we are in the process of creating a suite of 10 education resources that address all year levels and focus on key parts of the collection that relate to curriculum outcomes.  The new Australian curriculum, which now gives consistency to teaching practice across Australia, allows the NGA to finally service all schools with relevant teaching resources that are linked to classroom practice, across curriculum areas that include but are not limited to the Visual Arts.

This project will roll out progressively from late 2015 and throughout 2016.

These resources are a NGA Betty Churcher Art Education and Access Program made possible with the support of Tim Fairfax AC
