Gift of Kenneth Tyler 2002
Photographer: Marabeth COHEN-TYLER

Per Inge Bjorlo was born in Spjelkavik, Norway, in 1952. He trained in Norway at the College of Arts, Craft and Design in Bergen, and also at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo. Bjorlo has represented Norway at various international art festivals, including both the Venice and Sao Paulo biennales. He collaborated with Kenneth Tyler at Tyler Graphics on two occasions, and produced a large body of prints.

Bjorlo’s striking prints are typically executed in stark black and white, and feature haunting images of the abstracted human face.
