Born Cremona c1530, Died Cremona 1591. He trained in the family workshop in Cremona absorbing the influences of complexity of style and expressive pathos from his relatives. He was also influenced by Flemish artists such as Beuckelaer and Aertsen and painted many naturalistic scenes.
