Key information

Helen Cook is a former KPMG Partner and currently a Non-Executive Director. For the past two decades Ms Cook has been actively involved in the Australian arts sector holding a number of board and governance positions including the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the Australia Council for the Arts, Perth Theatre Trust, the Chamber of Arts and Culture Western Australia and Sheila Foundation – a philanthropic foundation addressing gender bias in art history and providing support for contemporary women artists.

Ms Cook currently serves on the boards of Juniper Aged Care and Central Desert Native Title Services and is a Divisional Councillor in Western Australia (WA) for the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on the advisory panel for University of Western Australia’s Centre for Energy and Natural Resources Law.

Ms Cook's former board roles include Minerals Research Institute WA, Fremantle Ports, RACWA Holdings, RAC Insurance, RAC Finance Ltd. She was confirmed with an honorary CPA in 2010 for her services to the accounting profession in WA.
