Key information

Mr Ryan Stokes is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Seven Group Holdings (SGH) and CEO of Australian Capital Equity.

SGH is a leading Australian diversified operating and investment group with market leading businesses and investments in industrial services, media and energy.

Mr Stokes was appointed Chair of the National Gallery of Australia in July 2018. He previously held positions as Chairman of the National Library of Australia (2012 – 18), Chairman of Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation (Headspace) (2006 – 10), and Director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (2011 – 15).

He was appointed an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2020.
