Commercial Operations Manager

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Commercial Operations Manager supports the Head of Commercial Operations in managing the National Gallery’s contract with our external Hospitality Services Provider who is responsible for events, functions and retail hospitality activities.

The focus is on ensuring that all aspects of the hospitality services contract are being managed effectively and that the Hospitality Services provider executes the production of high-quality events from conception through to completion, whilst simultaneously delivering a retail offering to visitors. This role works collaboratively with the Hospitality Services Provider and National Gallery stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of functions, events and retail.

This position reports to the Head of Commercial Operations and Publishing and is responsible for managing the commercial operation at the Gallery. This position of Commercial Operations manager is an non-ongoing full-time role with the opportunity to become ongoing.
