Cressida Campbell
Interior with poppies (Margaret Olley’s house)

Creation date: 1994

'Margaret was incredibly supportive of my work, and we had similar aesthetics as far as what we were drawn to in museums. She was insatiably curious about art and very eclectic. And she’d had some very difficult times in her life. She was a sort of magical person in a funny kind of way, the way some Irish people have that slightly whimsical quality. She’d come up with extraordinary combinations of clothing and she wore hats really well. But in the end, she was a great friend.'
