Know My Name

Well, regarding the picture I've just recently finished called Bedroom nocturne, that is a round picture, Tondo. I was drawn to the subject because it's a bit like the after lunch picture. I always find that when you leave a bed, the bed has an atmosphere when it's unmade, because it's a bit like the spirit of the person shapes the sheets. It's like a pair of worn shoes.

I like the atmosphere of 'I wonder who slept in the bed?' It had a kind of the light, because it was at night, it had an interesting glow. And all the little objects on the bedside table. And also there was some shoes under the table, or near the table and a chair. It's just one of those atmospheric pictures that, it doesn't really have an answer to it, but there is a slight question mark of, 'Whose bed is it? What sort of life they have.'
