Art + Mindfulness invites you to connect and engage with the national art collection through meditation practice. Presented in partnership with Simply Mindful and the National Gallery Youth Council.
The circle in First Nation’s cultures symbolism means unity. Explore the intrinsic connection between you, all living creatures and the world around you in this Art + Mindfulness session based on the work Eran, 2010 by artist Thanakupi, Dhaynagwidh/Thaynakwith peoples.
Meet in the Sculpture Garden, just outside the main entrance to the National Gallery building. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle. Yoga mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
