Art out of the Box in the Collection Study Room
with Bronwyn Gardner, Zoe Bilston & Tedd Nugent
Duration: 45 min including Q&A
Join Bronwyn Gardner (Associate Registrar), Zoe Bilston, and Tedd Nugent (Senior Registration Officers) in the Collection Study Room for a behind the scenes look at the important role of Registrars in caring for the National Collection.
Bronwyn, Tedd and Zoe will share examples of how diverse works of art are safely stored, handled, and transported. From works on paper to complex sculptures and textiles, Registrars ensure that the works of art in the National Collection will continue to be accessible to generations to come.
Art Talk is a free weekly program. Hear from artists, curators and experts on the works in our collection and exhibition program. This Art Talk is part of a series focused on the people and collections Behind the Scenes at the National Gallery.
This program is wheelchair accessible and four assistive listening devices will be available for attendees who are hard of hearing. Please email learning@nga.gov.au for more information.
