Free. Bookings essential

The exhibition Haegue Yang: Changing From From To From, features Sonic Intermediates – Three Differential Equations 2020, three sculptures covered in tiny bells that when activated fill the space with sound. Each sculpture is inspired by an artist Haegue Yang is friends with or admires:  Barbara Hepworth, Naum Gabo, and Li Yuan-chia.

In this Art Steps, inspired by Haegue Yang’s artistic approach, we will create abstract sculptures, playing with movement, colour and sound. We will use everyday materials and craft techniques to create objects that transform, create sound and may represent multiple aspects of someone we admire.

Art Steps is a series of creative making activities produced with artists for children to enjoy with family and friends.

Places are limited and booking is encouraged. Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. This program is designed for children aged 8–12 years. Children under 8 years of age will need assistance from an adult.
