Over the course of 2022 five young, emerging art writers from across Australia have been mentored by some of the country's most respected and exciting critics, curators and art historians as part of the National Gallery's pilot Digital Young Writers Mentorship. Join our mentees and their mentors as they reflect on the changing landscape of Australian arts writing and some of the insights they've gained through this unique professional development opportunity.

As part of the 40th birthday anniversary celebrations, the mentorship will also publish new work responding to a provocation, "The National Gallery in 2062: Speculative Futures.", featured on the National Gallery website.
