WELCOME RECEPTION AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE
Join us on Friday evening to kick off the weekend's festivities and reconnect with fellow supporters from across the country.
The Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency The Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, will host the Welcome Reception at Government House, and we warmly invite you to register your attendance as places are limited.

PRESENTATION OF THE WINNING DESIGN FOR THE NATIONAL SCULPTURE GARDEN
A major milestone in the evolution of the National Sculpture Garden will be the announcement of the winning design team in mid-October. Be amongst the first to hear about the winning design that will shape the future of the Garden.

DIRECTOR'S TOUR OF THE NATIONAL SCULPTURE GARDEN
Join Director Dr Nick Mitzevich for a tour of the National Sculpture Garden and hear about his vision to transform this beloved heritage site into one of the nation's most important cultural assets and major Australian native garden.

PALLION X LINDY LEE LIMITED EDITION JEWELLERY
Be among the first to see Lindy Lee’s bespoke, limited edition jewellery collection, Xiaolong, created in collaboration with the artisans at Pallion, Australia’s largest precious metals services group.
Pallion is gratefully acknowledged as a supporter of this year's Gala.

LUNCH IN THE DINING ROOM
Enjoy a Kitchen by Mike light lunch in the Dining Room, overlooking the beautiful springtime Garden.

VIEWING OF LINDY LEE WITH ARTIST TALK
Hear Lindy Lee talk about her most recent works on display in the Australian galleries. The Lindy Lee exhibition explores themes of ancestry, spirituality, the environment and the cosmos. This display of new and recent works will shed light on Lee’s ever evolving and ambitious practice.
This will be an opportunity to view Abundance, a pure gold maquette of Ouroboros created as part of Pallion's new Arts Program.

DAYTIME PROGRAM CONCLUDES

CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION AND GALA DINNER
The evening will commence at Lindy Lee’s Ouroboros with a Welcome to Country by collaborator and Ngunnawal Elder Aunty Jude Barlow, followed by champagne and canapés.
This will be an opportunity to celebrate the completion of an extraordinary work of art and first major milestone in the transformation of the National Sculpture Garden.
Enjoy a performance in response to Ouroboros by Australian Dance Theatre.

GALA DINNER
Join National Gallery Council Chair Ryan Stokes AO, Chair of the Foundation Stephen Brady AO, CVO and Director Dr Nick Mitzevich for dinner in the iconic Gandel Hall.
Enjoy a bespoke menu by internationally acclaimed chef Mark Best and flowers by Grandiflora's Saskia Havekes.
Look to the future of the National Sculpture Garden through a short film featuring dancers from Australian Dance Theatre.
