Thank you for your interest in reproducing works of art from the National Gallery’s collection. Please confirm the works of art you are interested in and share the details of your project with our staff using the following Copyright Request Form.

Please note that unless your use falls under the 'Fair Dealing' exceptions listed in the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), you are required by law to seek permission from the rightsholder in advance of any use of a work of art that is protected by copyright in Australia. If the work is by a First Nations artist, you may also be required to obtain Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) permissions for this use.

If you would like further information, or if you are interested in reproducing an asset that is not a work of art (such as videos or installation imagery) please email our Rights & Permissions department at copyright@nga.gov.au.
