OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This position is responsible for providing project support to the Sharing The National Collection initiative. This role is highly valued, supporting partner cultural institutions to participate in Sharing The National Collection and ensuring the initiative is well supported both internally and externally.
Being part of this project team is a significant opportunity to engage with regional and suburban partner cultural institutions across the country and be a part of a noteworthy chapter in the art history of the nation.
This position involves contact with a range of regional and suburban institutions across Australia, working through various tasks that may include gathering information, providing and coordinating specialist advice from within the National Gallery, finding creative solutions to issues and other items that may be relevant to sharing works of art from the national collection.
This is a full-time, non-ongoing employment opportunity until 30 June 2027, and may become ongoing.
