OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Creative Studio operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment with responsibility for publishing, graphic design, exhibition design, the workshop and overseeing rights & permissions across the Gallery. This position assists with the licensing of copyright and permissions for works in the national collection, exhibitions, publishing, and other Gallery projects.
With a customer service focus, the Rights and Permissions Assistant role is responsible for administering and processing external image requests and providing administrative support to the Rights and Permissions Coordinator across a range of projects. The role will suit a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage many competing priorities, show initiative and liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
An order of merit may be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.

This position reports to the Rights and Permissions Coordinator. This position of Rights and Permissions Assistant is an ongoing role with the Creative Studio team, in the Marketing, Communications & Visitor Experience portfolio at the Gallery.
