Join renowned American contemporary artist Jordan Wolfson in conversation with Russell Storer (Head Curator, International Art) to celebrate the world premiere of his new robotic work, Body Sculpture — a major acquisition for the National Gallery’s collection.
Wolfson and Storer will trace the development of the work over the past six years, from Wolfson’s original vision to the various collaborations and cutting-edge technologies required to realise it. The conversation will explore Wolfson’s interest in using sculpture, performance, robotics and artificial intelligence to create powerful experiences with art.

Jordan Wolfson: Body Sculpture is on display from 9 Dec – 28 Apr 2024. It is a free, ticketed exhibition. Exhibition tickets will be available to book from 29 November 2023.
