Ethel Carrick & Anne Dangar Studio

Play with artmaking processes and ideas in the Ethel Carrick & Anne Dangar Studio, a dedicated interactive space for audiences of all ages and abilities.

Create collages on the light wall, inspired by Ethel Carrick’s use of colour, shape and light. Construct patterns and puzzles to learn about Anne Dangar’s composition design process.

Children must be supervised by an adult.

The Ethel Carrick & Anne Dangar Studio is a free, drop-in space located in the foyer of Gallery 12.

Ethel Carrick and Anne Dangar are on display in Gallery 12 from 7 Dec 2024 – 27 Apr 2025.

These simultaneous exhibitions are Know My Name projects, the National Gallery’s initiative celebrating the work of all women artists to enhance understanding of their contribution to Australia’s cultural life.
