Join Carol Cains, Senior Curator, Asian Art, and Shaune Lakin, Senior Curator, Photography, as they discuss portrait painting, the photographic image and modernity in the work of Thai photographer Francis Chit (Khun Sunthonsathitlak) and Indian artists Khubiram Gopila and Bhuralal Motilal. Photographs by Chit and studio portraits by Gopila and Motilal have recently been installed as part of our Worldwide collection display.
