Give it away to keep it is a participatory knowledge exchange activity presented by alumni of the 2022 Indigenous Arts Leadership Program and the National Gallery Youth Council. Based on First Nations ways of knowing, doing and being, that only by sharing knowledge with others it carries on being.

Meet for a yarn outside the main entrance by the work of art, Mulanggari yur-wang (alive and strong) 2022, by artists Dr Matilda House and Paul Girrawah House, Ngambri, Ngunnawal, Gundungurra, Wiradjuri peoples.
