Sculpture Garden

Free, bookings essential

As a child, Cressida Campbell enjoyed walking and drawing in the bush with her mother. This fostered a lifelong sense of wonder and creativity that has shaped her artistic practice.

Join local artist Lucy Irvine to create a work of art together inspired by Cressida Campbell’s journey as an artist. Contribute to a long sculpture that winds a path through the Sculpture Garden, while talking with Lucy about how artists practise and grow their creativity.

Art Together is a series of creative artist-led programs that invite people of all ages to step into the word of an artist and make something through collaboration and participation.

This project is part of the Cressida Campbell public program and is for intergenerational audiences. Children are most welcome and must be accompanied by a participating adult.

If tickets are booked out, please email family@nga.gov.au to be added to the wait list.
