Join Qianyi Lim from Sibling Architecture for the first lecture in the 2023 Contemporary Australian Architects Speakers Series.

Qianyi Lim is an award-winning registered architect with over fifteen years of experience working in practices across Australia, China and Denmark. She is interested in creating inclusive and equitable environments that are ecologically sustainable and culturally enriching for diverse communities.

Qianyi is a co-director of Sibling Architecture. She founded the studio in Melbourne before establishing its Sydney studio in 2017. She has led a range of cultural projects including the Bega Valley Regional Art Gallery, Bellingen Hall to Hub and the Bathurst St Creative Hub for the City of Sydney. She also led the recently completed Stable House which was awarded the 2022 Wilkinson Award for Residential New architecture by the NSW Australian Institute of Architects.

For more than two decades the National Gallery has proudly partnered with the Australian Institute of Architects (ACT Chapter) to present the Contemporary Australian Architects Speaker Series. This annual lecture series showcases the latest work of renowned Australian architects.
