Braille Sculpture Garden brochure

The braille Sculpture Garden brochure includes an introduction and map of the garden plus descriptive text and tactile maps of the sculptures. Collect a braille brochure at the Information Desk.

Touch Tours

Do you belong to a school or community group that provides social opportunities and support for individuals who are Blind or with low vision? Touch Tours offer opportunities to engage with the Gallery’s sculpture collection through texture, scale, shape and materials in combination with description to support interpretation and understanding.

Designed with You:
Touch and Make

School and community groups that support individuals who are Bind or with low vision can book making and creativity workshops in the Tim Fairfax Learning Studio. Workshops provide engagement with the visual arts for people who are Blind or with low vision though the exploration of materials in 2D and 3D activities. Touch and Make workshops are usually 60 minutes and can be scheduled on weekdays after school hours.

For people who are deaf or hard of hearing

Each month join an Auslan sign-interpreted tour of major exhibitions or works of art in the Gallery’s collection.

For People with Dementia

The Art and Dementia program connects people living with dementia and their care partners with art and the world in enriching and life-enhancing ways.

Art Weekends

For people who are autistic, neurodiverse, or who have social anxiety
