Key information

Kenneth Tyler collaborated with leading artists working in America in the post Second World War era. He also mentored emerging artists and worked with idiosyncratic individuals who were not involved in the mainstream art world.

The 78 artists featured in the collection engaged with the ‘no rules’ mantra of Tyler’s workshops to create prints in an astounding variety of form—through prints as series and portfolios, to folding screens, mural prints, lead reliefs, vacuum-formed plastics, sprayed paper pulp, and prints in three dimensions that take leave of the wall completely.
